Appeasing Islam emboldens the radicals
THE front page of the latest issue of Freedom accused Gordon Brown and Rowan Williams of betraying Britain’s Christian heritage in order to appease Islam.Brown has allowed Britain to become the first Western nation to accept financial bonds approved by Muslim clerics in order to attract money to the City from Muslim countries and to curry favour with Britain’s Muslim voters. The Archbishop of Canterbury had acknowledged that Sharia Law would take its place within our judicial system. His concession to Islam, he claimed, was in an attempt to foster better race relations between Christians and Muslims.
