Esther at Islam in Europe has compiled an estimate of the percentage of Muslims in European prisons. Considering the high numbers, especially in Spain and France, and the fact that Muslims are quite often radicalized in prison. This is bad, bad, bad news....
Estimating the percentages of Muslims in prisons across Europe is not simple. In some cases, such as Sweden, collecting such data is illegal. In many cases, the numbers are only estimates.
