Ett manligt tidningsbud våldtogs och misshandlades av en okänd man i Hallunda i Stockholm tidigt på söndagsmorgonen. Våldtäktmannen är fortfarande på fri fot.

Two workers jailed for rape

Dubai: Two workers have been jailed for having sex in a washroom with their male colleague who claimed he was forced to have sex with them.

The Dubai Court of First Instance sentenced the Pakistani workers, O.M., 26, and Q.M., 25, to one year in jail each after they were incriminated for having sex with the Indian victim. They will be deported after serving their punishment.

The two accused pleaded innocent and denied forcing their 25-year-old colleague into a washroom, threatening him with a razor and having sex with him against his will.

Emiratis jailed for raping youth

A court in Dubai, in the UAE, has jailed two men for 15 years for the abduction and sexual assault of a 15-year-old French-Swiss boy.

The men, one of whom is HIV positive, took the teenager to the desert and raped him at knifepoint.

The victim's mother, Veronique Robert, says the authorities lied about the defendant's medical status to hide the fact that Aids is present in the UAE.

"Fifteen years is nothing for someone who knew he had Aids," she said.

A lawyer for the family said they would appeal against what they saw as a too-lenient sentence. A juvenile court is trying a third suspect in the same case.

The defence had claimed the victim had consented to sex and had lied to the authorities.

French boy recounts rape ordeal in court

DUBAI — A 15-year-old French boy, who was allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted by three UAE nationals, was in tears in the Dubai Court of First Instance yesterday as he described the ordeal he went through.

The boy’s mother was also in the court yesterday.

According to court records, the trio lured the boy and one of his friends, who is also 15, into their car and took them to a remote area in Al Barsha, Dubai. The accused forced the friend of the victim out of the car and two of them took turns to rape the boy while the third kept a watch.

The third accused is a minor. He was the one who lured the two French teenagers to the defendants and did not take part in the rape. He has been referred to the juvenile court to stand trial.

The friend of the victim also testified in the court yesterday.
