13-year-old boy who sexually assaulted a grandmother sentenced to four years
A 13-year-old boy was sentenced to four years in detention today for carrying out an "unthinkable" sex attack on a frail grandmother who later died in hospital.
Luke James Sharp molested Rosemary Pagett, 75, for possibly as long as 30 minutes in her own home in Ryhill near Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Leeds Crown Court was told the youngster had carried out the sex attack in an attempt to draw attention to his own unhappiness with his foster home.
